I honestly like the Tron-lines over a theoretical grid-line deco. Grid-lines would've obscured the figure's details. The edge highlights they went with are just so damned clean and classy.

 

Pulse just got around to shipping mine out this morning. Hopefully I'll have it in hand by this weekend.

 

Mine has been sitting on "label created" since Friday...I hope it moves soon!

 

Well can say with the UPS route, no relay scans, but it shows that its at my local UPS terminal. Should have GalvaTRON by tomorrow.

 

I was pleasantly surprised to see Pulse use UPS over FedEx for this shipment, even if it hasn't passed the label phase.

It's interesting how everyone has an opinion on shippers. Personally, FedEx has never let me down but I've had lots of issues with UPS. This latest round hasn't moved the needle. Label generated Friday and yet late on Monday night UPS still has no update?

 

if only i had the money + shipping to south america, but i don't, specially now that the shipping costs have raised beyond what one would think is reasonable

 

I'm a little underwhelmed by this. The figure is nice... the ships are okay. Just okay. I have them plugged into Unicron himself as if they are just slightly skating above his "skin". But I wish they were compatible with the base that came with Unicron.

The slugs? I have no idea what to do with them... they're not compatible with the base either, so Galvatron and Rodimus still stand on it alone.

Hasbro, you could have done better. Much better.

 

I'm happy that I'm getting stuff through USPS and UPS over FedEx myself. Might be biased since I work for UPS but I've never had problems with UPS. Meanwhile dates for FedEx Ground is never exact and FedEx drivers have misdelivered my stuff(not just from Pulse) multiple times.

Anyways I already loved this mold and this figure is GODDAMN AWESOME. Super happy I got him.

 

How I'm feeling too. Those ships needed stands to attach the the base. It has ports for more, why were they not included??

And the slugs are supposed to be, but they are all weirdly soft now and don't fit well. And I wanted those and the ships more than Galvatron himself so...

 

The slugs fit, you just gotta squish them in since they're so flexible

 

This guy is super creaky when moving his joints. I hope the plastic lasts.

 

Honestly really digging it and don't really mind the soft plastic ships.

That being said... I got two mini Kups and no Cyclonus. Anyone not wanting their minifigs please PM me. Interested in buying a few more. I'm sure Hasbro Pulse won't be sending me a replacement.

Really? Mine moves very smoothly at all the joints.

With the translucent plastic, though, I do have a few points of concern. The hard stops for the cannon stand mounted in his ankles might be a potential breakage point in the future, being a translucent-on-translucent connection. The plastic seems pretty thick there, though, and I'm not seeing any signs of stress fracturing, so fingers crossed. The other thing to be wary of is the way the chest and lats clip together at the bottom of the cannon. It's not a super tight snap fit, though, so again, you might want to watch it, but I haven't seen any immediate signs of damage.

 

Ugh, I’m missing 3 of the mini figures. I only received 11 of the 14…missing Cyclonus, Soundwave, & Arcee. Pulse told me to call Hasbro Customer Service, I kind of doubt they’ll replace them. Other than that, the set is great, & Galvatron looks amazing!
