Did you just sorta comfirm that an MMC Magnus is in the works?  

 

He's mentioned before that @RVDA wants to design one.

 

Neat. Been eager for a new Magnus to replace my Takara Legends figure.

 

No Rick and I just really realllllyyyy wanna make one   If no one else at mmc does then it'll be up to us.

 

This is the height I always thought Maximus looked right at, so I think this figure will work quite well.

 

Any sight of this being promoted at the con?

Very underwhelming, in regards to Supermax that is.

 

MMC has been making frustrating decisions lately:
1. No red Stray
2. Producing a bunch of other stuff instead of this
3. Using the boring version of Guzzle

Seriously, what about Star Convoy would sell better than this guy? Do they not want my money?

Yeah I really want to do this, but after how long Supermax took to design I might need a break lol. Maybe do a Shadow Play Orion Pax before that if another (MMC) designer isn't already.

 

Yeah, Ive bought just about everything MMC excluding a few repaints. I put in a bid on this one. not looking like its gonna happen, and then we see that enormous ass nobody asked for it Star Convoy unveiled today. They really gonna sell 3k units of those things? cause i am a mmc die harder and I have no interest in that at all. Maybe crowdsource that thing instead

Seriously. Of all the pictures I've seen of the MMC booth both here and on Facebook so far, I haven't seen a single reference to Supermax anywhere. No posters, flyers, pictures, anything. I don't mean to sound like an alarmist but wtf MMC? Is he being promoted somewhere else?

 

Yup there is nothing at the con for supermax, apparently the banner and postcards didn’t make it in time.
All MMC has is the star convoy, guzzle, brawn, ni, and vortex, along with the penguins.
I’m guessing and hoping they put it up in the 3rd party panel at the minimum.

 

He's obviously not high on their list of priorities.

Agree.

A lot of (also ugly/weird/extremely inaccurate) figures seem to get the go-ahead, and a lot of seeimgly no-brainers seem to be passed up, or are way later in the queue.

Where is our Rewind, Chromedome, Nightbeat, Nautica, Firestar, Skids, Windblade, Pharma and for crying out loud - our Rung?


I’m sure if MMC had a crowdfund for that godawful Cyclonus (and moldmates) it wouldn’t have never went through either. Likely doing much worse than this. Same as that ugly remold of Guzzle they’re doing also.

Guzzle looks fine. That Brawn though looks like a terrible frog transformer.

So instead of a slew of A-lister very popular IDW stuff; we get Starconvoy and terrible Brawn.

That really sucks. What was the point of extending this crowdfunding until the end of TFCon LA if MMC doesn't promote it at all. I really want Supermax to be a successful funding, but feels like MMC is working against this project.
