Maybe people are waiting til the end of the month for payday?

I probably won’t be able to back it til then either.

Made my pledge Saturday. Discouraged to see the low turnout, but hopefully it will ramp up and make it by the deadline.

Doh, my mistake -- I saw the first line that mentioned the initial payment was non-refundable and didn't realize they said it would be refunded if the minimum wasn't met.

Worst decision ever if you want a project to succeed...... Your money is refunded if it isn't successful so I don't see any benefit to that tactic.... My 2c

    From the site:

It's non-refundable only right now, during the campaign so people can't put a deposit then drop it before the campaigns over and mess the supporter numbers up. Which is completely reasonable.

Also the full price will not have to be paid still for like, a year I would think.

I think the next spike usually would come toward the end of the campaign? I’m sure someone will correct my logistics if not.
I would love to see a day by day graphical though.

There is no need to "wait and see" with this. The money is refunded if the goal is not met, so those not waiting on a paycheck or some other kind of funds don't benefit at all by waiting.

Yeah, typically with crowdfunds, the spike is at the beginning and the end. IIRC though, on KS, even if you fund on day 1, KS doesn't take the money from your card until after the campaign is a go. (So at the end of the month.)

For this campaign, people have to pay $50 right away, which may mean people are waiting for payday.

BTW, I just noticed that the transformation video as of right now has 11,756 views. I'm not sure how FB counts views, but even assuming the same people have watched it over and over again a lot, I think there are more than enough people who have been engaged. Just need more of them to pony up the $50.

When this campaign started, I did wonder whether announcing it at the 3rd party panel in TFCon LA wouldn't have been a perfect way to kick it off. Then again, it's possible that the iron would've cooled off significantly by then, and people might have semi-forgotten about the project. It would've also pushed production back that much time as well.

Usually it does, but time to break that trend. Let's get it funded till the 1200 number.

    Ordered.

From the video, pictures, and information provided so far, looks like a well designed product. Hope for the best it translate into reality!
