    I like it. It's awesome.

But the part with Spike and Sparkplug freaks me out. It looks like part of a old communist campaign poster.

Very cool. Are you going to redraw the whole issue or just the cover?

I'd say that Spike and Sparkplug rather look like Spike and Daniel... Either way... This is a superb piece!!

Holy crap, Western-style of drawing humans! I thought all those people were wiped out! Nice to see someone who can draw humans that are something other then anime (not that anime in general is bad, but anime art-style is a bit oversaturated these days while classic Western/American style has been dead since the late 1990s).

This really is a great piece D-CON and you should be very proud! I hope that you'll treat us to some colors soon!

Bah humbug. Nothing is dead; its only the people who whine about it that blow it WAY out of proportion.

The majority of American comics are still drawn in the classic style after all. The "anime" like style is also desaturated in how many who are doing it well and the whole thing is allways flamed by the mass of traditional style fans anyway.

Take a look at all the cartoons done nowadays. There is nothing done in the classic Western style over in the U.S., and what I mean by that is in the image of say the X-Men, Spider-man, G.I. Joe look of the 80s and 90s. All that stuff is long gone. Most cartoons are done in the vein of anime-style (granted a significant portion of cartoons in America are imported over from Japan, but I'm sure you get the idea), even some American shows are trying to be wannabe-anime, which just shows how oversaturated things have become.

And believe me, anime-style over here is going to get more saturated. I can't tell you how many students at my old college (old as in I graduated three months ago) draw in the anime-manga style and are even going into Sequential Art with the sole purpose of drawing in said style. Most professors have discouraged against mimicking the anime style because most American companies that are hiring DO NOT want to see that kind of stuff in your portfolio.

Now, if I am in error, I'll correct my earlier statement. I'm just calling it as I see it over here. Maybe things are different over in Europe, I don't know. I don't live over there.

D-con, don't get me wrong I love your style. But to me the 1st issue cover was so Iconic, partially because it was rather minimalist. Your interpetation is a little,,,busy. Too many cameos.

Prime, crushing a bird-bot (Lazerbeak?) with jet fighters streaking in the distance, striding over a bridge. (I could do without the 'golly gee' humans in the picture)

Also I belive the cover was painted, which is a rarity for any TF cover.

Awesome! The only thing I'm not sure about is SS. He looks like he's part of the human scene (based on scale and expression), and he has a gun on his nose :p  ... oh and maybe the humans. They look like they are all about Laserbeak. "go Laserbeak! Yay!" Okay, they're not that bad, but I think it's funny to imagine them saying that. I think it would be more dramatic to have them scared, but that's just me :)
