yes i am late to the bandwagon, but i just finished watching all 100 and i got to say it is made of plain awsome, i love caboose and sarge, and doc with sister was hilarious, idiot doctor tucker also rules alien children from human males for the win
I don't know, is this really spam? I mean, we have threads about some anime shows, (which this isnt obviously), but it is still sort of a show. I think maybe its just in the wrong place, but considering RvB is made using a game, maybe it does belong here? Nevermind, if its locked its locked. On topic: I was late to see RvB, I caught up to episode releases with about 10 episodes to go before 100. Why do shows I like always finish really quickly?
Machinima falls under games and anime... play on, but a little more substance in the Opening Posts are always welcome.
Red VS Blue was really fun...for the first few episodes. After that, it just became far too silly for me, well done as it may be. I'm still waiting for some good Team Fortress 2 Machinima.
I'll agree that some of it did get a little silly, past/future, conspiracies, time travel, ghosts, Donuts heterosexuality, etc. Still it was a fun series to me. I was sad to see it go, but at least it was padded out with all the PSAs and such. I am also in the 'Caboose FTW!' camp.
RvB FTW. But they where right to end it when they did, the story had become too convoluted and unwieldy.
I got into RvB really late, post-episode 100. But I love, love, LOVE it. I'm just waiting for them to do a full-series box set (e-mailed them last year and they said they were planning it) and the DVDs will be miiiiiine. Bow chicka bow wow.
That's one wagon I COMPLETELY missed. I've never even seen an episode... I saw the DVD on the shelf once or twoce at a store, but never seen an episode. I live under a mighty big rock, yessiree.
I was following it for a while, but then stopped for a bit during a particular heavy few months of work. At which point I was completely lost. I keep meaning to buy the DVD's though. I've heard rumours they're going to be making Red vs. Blue characters as HaloClix exclusives at some point too.
I got a kick out of a bunch of 'em back in the day, but it did get a little contrived as time went on. Still, pumas being mythical animals is somehow hilarious to me. Can't explain it, but I laughed my ass off at that.
The callback joke to the yellow Church at the end made the entire series worth it. It takes balls to commit to a small joke that takes 50 episodes to see fruit.
I got the first season for christmas and watched it a few weeks ago. I think it is really funny. I might get second season, but there is so many other things Im aiming for right now.
I think the best part of that PSA is the fact that Grif warns us not to be like him and in real life Geoff who does Grif is covered in tattoos.
I actually only ever started seeing these in the last couple of months myself, pretty good stuff, though I find it's really only something I would give a once over. That and I only really thought the later bits of season one and season 2 were really good.
