I absolutely love exclusive stuff like this, but that's a bit pricey for my blood!   Still, I suppose if I had the extra cash...   I actually really like the colors too...

 

damn, thats outta my range. even if it is Starscream

 

Yeah, kind of kickin' myself for being on disability right now. If I had the cash I'd get.

 

Still looks rather, well a color other than red to me.

Also, yeah at that price not worth it to me.

 

Even with international shipping from Asia, it's still a good $80 or so cheaper on eBay.

 

Maybe if it came with a Blu-Ray player.  

 

I find it amusing that he came with a player for a format Toshiba themselves have now abandoned.

You gotta be kidding me. That is hideous since the first day I saw it and I can't believe how much it goes for. I believe the Premium SS would look even better.

 

Ugly toys get alot more interest if they're Japanese  

The same goes with American toys sold in Japan - by virtue of being in Japan at some point in its existence makes it more valuable to certain individuals.

 

That's almost double the going price for these.

 

HD-DVD is dead now, so it'll become another kind of memorabilia. 

 

After checking out eBay you're actually right. Wonder why he's jacking them up so much.

Actually, for some reason I really really like the colors on him. Maybe because it's different? Really really different... that and I like limited/exclusive figures like this guy... yeah, I have a problem...  

 

i believe those had a run of 1000 or less...there was some article on a web site a while ago extolling the virtues of HD DVD and was waxing toshiba's ego about "issuing one of the most exclusive transformers" ever made....ugh.

it looks neat but nowhere near $349 worth of neat.....

Thats what bbts does, loose incomplete fort max for over $1000 g1 trypticon for $277, these prices are insane makes me wonder how they sell alot of this stuff.

An exclusive that equals a BIG waste of money. That's one of the most FUGLY TFs I've ever seen. Pink Arcee = Wonderful! Pink Starscream, big MEH!

 

Which is funny that some of their stuff is overpriced, because I got a Wonder Fest Exclusive Movie Arcee from them for $125 when the normal going price on eBay is close to around $150. Frankly, I've noticed that some of their stuff tends to be a bit overpriced, but some of their stuff is a good deal. But, yeah, those two that you listed are a bit much aren't they?

 

I'd buy it as a Sunstorm standin if it was a domestic repaint release, but that price is laughable, even for BBTS.
