I got the rampage toy a while back, then watched the ROTF movie. The fact that he was the wrong colors really frustrated me, so I decided to paint him myself. this was my first real custom on any transformer.

 

Nice touch!

The yellow scrapper were the one who combines to become Devastator. It seems that the toy were intended to be that one. Though that particular toy is not actually combinable...

Yap the red one does different than the yellow.

I read it somewhere that there are actually 2 rampages appeared in the movie. The red one, who fights bumblebee, and the yellow one who combines to Devastator. However, did you note that the one fights bee is a one legged serpent like, but the toy have two legs. The Legend class rampage toy (who combines to devastator) also one legged... bit of confused my self...

 

I never noticed the 2nd rampages color, because right before he combines you just kinda see his scoop, it obscures a lot of the vehicle.

the toy can do the one-legged thing too, it just looks kinda stupid

Aside from the overkill of silver drybrushing, this looks great. Hint for next time: Drybrush with something other than silver as well. Brown or something, to imitate dirt and such.

 

it was actually grey not silver, i was planning on doing it with brown but I ran out so I thought grey would be an okay substitute, however its not
