Let's hope so, or at least a remaster of the PS3 game to hold us over. I wouldn't expect RDR3 to be out until Summer of 2018 though.

have they been known to troll? i know ed boon of netherrealm studios is a notorious troller, and i get kinda iffy on such a vaige (can't spell) pic...... it'll cool for red dead redemption 2, a remastered or rd3..... edit: its been a while....i know i'm getting them wrong
Oh man... Red Dead Redemption sequel or remaster on PS4/XBox One would be amazing. I just played Red Dead Redemption for the first time this year but it ended up being one of my favorite PS3 games simply due to the beautiful environments alone; I'd love to see what a next gen (Well, current gen now- Time flies!) version would look like. My only complaint was how the mechanics behind the Dead Eye mode changed every time it got upgraded- I Liked the stage 2 Dead Eye way more than the fully upgraded version, and changing the way such a key mechanic works just felt weird to me.
It's sad to me that people are so up for another remaster. I'm tired of remasters and after recently playing Red Dead Redemption again I don't think it needs it, it still looks great, it's just the gameplay feels a little dated compared to more recent games that have a similar set up. RD3 please.
I am hoping it's red dead 3 and not a remaster but that is not to say if it is I would not buy cause red dead 2 was that good anyway to buy into the remaster of this game. I don't normally support a remaster but some games are that good I will buy the remaster.
SWEET BABY JESUS HOLD ME IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING. RDR is the best I've been waiting forever for this to be a thing. Gimme a remaster of the first game on PC before end of year and then sequel next year and I won't need to buy another game for quite some time. Leaks are indicating it's a prequel and it focuses on Marston's old gang. If true that's even better than I could have asked for.
