I accidentally posted in the wrong section so I'm posting it here.

I was wondering if anyone knows a credible place I could buy Transformers G1 Green Giant Type 61 Devastator. I looked at some sites online and they come off shady to me and I was wondering if anyone can recommend me to a store where I can buy it. (I'm living at Montreal, Canada so I'm looking for a store preferably in Canada or somewhere that I don't have to pay high shipping/import charges). I checked ebay and some of the prices are pretty high (from shipping and import taxes it's like $100 extra and I heard bad things about buying it from China such as they sometimes ship imitation products). I am wondering if anyone knows a cheaper place to buy than that. I checked the distributors listed on maketoys.jp but it seems out of stock and some store websites such as tf source looks shady in that I can't find a physical address for them even though it's a virtual store (I looked up reviews online as well and read that some people had problems with customer service).

I know there's one in stock at BigBadToyStore, but they only have substandard product in stock.

I also emailed the distributor that's located in Canada, but they never replied back.

    So... anyone have any recommendations?

Salut, fellow Montrealer! Whereabouts in town are you?

If it's the maketoys version, go for TFsource. They've got another order for it coming in soon, and it's on sale for 20% off. You may also get a discount on shipping.
I've dealt with them a dozen times now, and they've always been great. Also, I've never been caught by customs either (their in the u.s.) because they always ship stuff as "gift", and they don't indicate on their boxes that they're a store...

Ah ok thanks! I live in the town of Mount Royale how about you? Also how much did shipping come up to be for you when you ordered?

I'm in Verdun. I'd contact them to find out; they give shipping discounts for orders over 150$, but it depends on the destination. Some people on these boards complain about them, but I've never ever ever had any problems with them. Then again, I rarely preorder stuff and change my mind, so maybe that helps! (though a couple of times when I have, they've concelled the order no problem).
And again, that particular item is on sale...
