I just got my reissue Megatron yesterday and some of the chrome on the right arm is missing. It almost looks like they stopped short on the painting of the fig.

My question is; Did anyone else get one like this, or have touched up a Megatron and can recommed a fix for this?

Well, there is no chrome paint out there that I know of that truely matches chrome so you may want to use some of that stuff called "Bare Metal" that modelers use for chrome on model cars. I've used it to recover G1 Sideswipes arms before and it conforms pretty nicely. Looks pretty close to real chrome too.

My Megatron had a black dot on his forehead, right at the tip, that I had to touch-up. Like someone at the factory got impatient and slammed his head in and scratched the paint. I've had to touch him up a few times now.

It's a very very fine (thin) foil sticker. It conforms to pretty much any shape you lay it on. I've used it to add the revel molding (stainless trim around old cars windows) on models that I've done and it looks really good.

No problem, sorry you got a messed up Megatron. I'd see about maybe returning it if possible before trying to fix it. Not sure of the circumstances on which you bought it so returning it may or may not be an option..
