A while back I made a similar poll for wave 1, and even though the distribution of wave 2's legends (along with some deluxes) has been spotty to say the least, it looks as though now's a good time for a followup poll. And since all the legends are redecos of existing toys, it's not such a problem to imagine if you'd like them or not.

Anyway, same question as before, if you have to narrow down the selection to just one toy, which would you recommend to someone else? With only one leader and no titan-class toys, this wave is a bit trimmer, but the last poll had Blurr and Hardhead as clear frontrunners.

Wolfire really surprised me, a delight to play with. So he gets my vote, slightly ahead of others.
I'm waiting for Takara's space choo choo thought.

I voted for mindwipe. I like the way the legs fold out to become the wings and the nice dynamic look his robot mode has

    Astrotrain.

Not only do you get a revival of the 1985 figure with a 1987 gimmick, you also have Hasbro doing a "silver" version that is similar to how Takara did the "white" version. :)

Astrotrain. He looks alot better than the Classics 1.0 mold in terms of Hasbro's original deco and even though the Classics 1.0 mold is not bad by any means, I think the TR mold is better suited in scale and overall a better presentation while still maintaining a great level of play value. :)

Chromedome just edges it for me. Wolf was a pleasant surprise.

I still haven't seen the mythical "wave 2 deluxes", but I do have Soundwave, Frenzy, and Laserbeak who make a cool group. I'd definitely recommend Soundwave.

Chromedome was an important figure for me to have, and I didn't find it until last night, but my vote goes to Wolfwire. It's one of the few beast mode figures that is great in both modes, plus his titan masters gun gimmick is actually awesome. Second-best in the line so far only to Hardhead, imo.

I knew I was getting Chromedome, as he was the one I remember the most from the G1 days, but my vote went to Wolfwire. He is just an amazing figure, and a ton of fun to play with. Looks great in both modes, highly poseable, and a great update!

I had a hard time with this one.

Astrotrain was my most anticipated figure in the voyager class, and he's lived up to my hype. Really good!

Alpha Trion was a shocker, I wasn't expecting to like him, but I really do!

But Chromedome was my choice. I love Chromedome as a character, and for an off the shelf toy, its spectacular! He really gives me the IDW giggles, with a little G1 throwback. I find myself messing with him all the time.

Did I miss the gimmick with Wolfwire's gun then? All I saw was another gun with a place for a Titan Master to sit in it. Is there more to it than that?

What I just meant was his gun can sit on his back in wolf mode and I think that's badass. Reminds me of an old PC game called Total Annihilation. Also he can have a belly gun in wolf mode, too. :D

Ah shame, you got me excited for a moment there. Yeah, I like the manned guns in alt modes too, but they're somewhat extraneous in robot mode. Wolfwire's gun is currently packed away as I prefer him just with a sword anyway.

Wolfwire. Okay I only have the legends version right now, but I love everything about him I'm actually waiting to find a non-insanely priced TR version. Absolutely beastly in the best sort of way. Although shame about the fragile nature of his Titan Master compartment canopy.

Yeah mine actually snapped on one side already. I didn't even realize it was stressing until it was too late. Shame, too, because I really like this figure. I love how the titan masters can pilot the beast modes. Reminds me of Power Rangers and I love it!
