Hi all!! I went to a secondhand shop yesterday out here in Japan, and came across 3 transformers g1 c-320,321 and 322 from what I researched these 3 can be combined to make one big transformer. What has got me is the pricing, as I am a new collector I wasn't sure if it was a good deal or not. The toys all 3 have been played with it seems, its still in original boxes, but the instructions are missing. c-320- 4980yen ($50) c-321-8900yen ($90-$100) c-322-4980yen ($50) What I would like to know is if this is a good buy, or should I let them pass. Any help or information on these items would be appreciated. Thank you for your time
If they have all their accessories/combiner kibble then I'd say that is an excellent price for a complete Road Caesar. For accessory reference: Blacker (C-320) Laster (C-321) Braver(C-322) For some reason TFU doesn't list the brainmaster figures on their accessories. Brainmasters are kind of like Headmasters. They are little robots that go into the chest of the figures and then are raised up to form the face on the larger robot. Each of the the figures are Brainmasters and should each have one of these small figures (example pictured in this link). Edit: As for determining a good price, I think looking at completed sold auctions on eBay gives you a nice ballpark figure for what kind of price some people are willing to pay on an older figure. It is not a perfect metric and ultimately you need to decide what you want as a collector and what it is worth.
