One of those is a Disney Infinity figure.
Thanks. I got lucky that the cabinet is in such good shape. I'm doing a bit of work to get it playable but nothing I can't handle. I may start a dedicated thread about it tomorrow.
Getting an old game working is easier than restoring the cabinet it lives in.
As someone that has done both almost their entire life I can't agree more.
Please do so! I am also venturing into restoring a Xevious cabinet I just acquired
My gaming purchase of the week:
Flea market finds:
Not pictured, I also bought an N64 console with Mario 64, expansion pack and one controller for $50
Super awesome bonus - a friend GAVE me this!
The NES version of DQ4 (er, I mean Dragon Warrior IV as it was called back then)? I sure hope that isn't your first DQ game because the original version of 4 is generally regarded as the black sheep of the series.
Yup, very first one.
Latest additions to my rare and odd Controller Collection. (Note the Sears Branding)
Skylanders figures and Soul Calibur IV for PS3...because it has DARTH VADER!!!!
XBox 360 Steering Wheel from Goodwill
Disney Infinity Tow Mater
Amiibo figures from Saturday (the loose figures)
I know...I collect those and play those too.
Funny thing about Drax, I always SHARE OWNERSHIP of the new figures, just to see what they have...and he was completely leveled up. At first, I thought that was cool, because he kicks butt, but after playing, I realized it's no fun because half the fun is leveling them up.
anyone know the headphones that were given to people who ordered a subscription to nintendo power magazine?
i missed that train until this past week when i went to a thrift store and found the headphones meant to be used for the GBA SP. the sound is awesome. used it during a playthrough of metroid fusion.
I bought a few things today, but I ALMOST bought either:
PSVita+64GB Card+PS3 160GB Unit
PSVita+64GB Card+Nintendo 3DS XL
Because GameStop had a Buy2Get1 free on EVERY used thing, including systems. But after thinking about it in the store for TWO hours, I left with none of these. I hope the Buy2Get1 sale happens again. I need to do my research
Because by the end of it all, I was thinking of just getting a Nintendo WiiU and Smash Bros.
I'm just not sure which system to get...or if I should even bother. I think a different system will make me happy, but I think I should just stop buying and just be content with what I have. I have many things as it is.
Saturday Gaming Haul: Xbox 360 Kinnect, keyboard, and Soul Calibur 4; Skylanders figures; Star Wars stickers for when the Disney Infinity3.0 come out (to put on the container where they will be stored)
So, help me out. Do I want/need a
PS Vita? without a PS4? I think if I ever get a PS4 then I will want the Vita. Vita didn't have any games I wanted. PS4 doesn't either...yet. PS3 has plenty of great games like God of War and Heavenly Sword. Then there's the portable game systems...but would I actually play them? Are they worth carrying around?
From your choices I would get the Vita+PS3. The Vita has a decent selection of rpg's and you have the option of playing PS1 classics on it as well. Then you add in the PS3 which has a ton of quality games on it.
The option of just buying a Wii U and Smash isn't bad either as long as you're happy to limit yourself to first party Nintendo games only. They're great fun, but if you don't have a gaming PC or the X1/PS4 then you miss out on some great third party stuff.
i got fallout 3 a month after launch many years ago.
last week, i ordered the Game of the year edition to go with the fallout new vegas ultimate edition i got a week earlier.
bought 3 official Sega Genesis 6-button controller. i already had 1 and i have a model 1 and model 2 genesis and i connect the model 2 to the sega cd and sega 32X for fighting games.
bought a Sega CD back up ram cart for playing Shining Force CD and other RPG games for Sega CD.
Thanks for the input. I have an XBone.
Can the Vita play the games you already have from PS1? I know that the PS3 will play PS1 games (and heard today that the PS4 will)...so does that play into this?
The PS1 games you play on Vita are the ones you buy from the PSN. I'm sure there are less than legal ways to copy PS1 games onto the Vita, but at this point the only legitimate way is to buy them digitally.
I bought Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and 3D Out Run for the 3DS this week.
The added bonus to this is PS1 games on PSN are usually cross buy. Purchase once and get it for Vita and PS3. Sales don't hurt either. I have gotten several PS1 classics for around a dollar each.
I'm a huge fan of the way it works as well. It has been great being able to play the games on ps3,psp or vita. You can never have too many ways to play Symphony of the Night.
I picked up a funko pop claptrap figure to put on top of my pc. It is kinda a gaming purchase.
Really? what are some titles?
