And yeah, REC was a lot better than Quarantine.

I can't wait to get my hands on [REC]. I do agree that it is way better than Quarantine. But Quarantine was still great.

As for [REC] 2, OMG!!! I can't wait for all that mayhem!!!

I still enjoyed Quarantine. Like I said, I'm not a purist who has to stick with (in a snobby nasal voice) "The original", but I found the lead's character to be stronger in REC, so I enjoyed her story a bit better, even if it was the same story. Also, I enjoyed the residents more, especially she funny spanish guy who wanted to give his best side when interviewed.

The trailer confused me - was this a first person or third person shooter? ;)

Best thing about this is that the DVD is FINALLY getting released in the US.

It really isn't that bad, in fact, it's almost scene for scene Rec, just with a different look. So it's not the plague. Like I said, I just prefer Rec because of its cast. Actually I learned about REC from you guys, so thanks :)

That's how the Resident Evil movies should've been in the first place.

Exactly the reason to avoid it. The more similar it is to the original, the less reason there is to watch both, and since the original is widely regarded as the superior film....
