I heard schools still had to pay to have access to it?

I wish I had the money to donate. I really do.
Reading Rainbow is likely the reason I'm Literate today and it's kind of a shame when I see my half-brother struggle to read like he does. (Doesn't help that his parents use Netflix as a babysitter)

Does anyone remember the one where he was on his show but then was doing behind the stage as La Forge too?

It was a great show hopefully kids will react to it these days.

I never had realized he had so much to do after I looked it up seeing the kickstater I though he just hosted it.

That's one of the main points of the kickstarter. The more money it makes, the more schools can get it for free. You have to remember they aren't being funded by PBS anymore. The video field trips and book licenses cost a lot of money.

I always preferred the spin-off hosted by Colm Meaney.

I did a search for Reading Rainbow and nothing came up. If the mods want to merge this with the other one, fine by me:)  All I care about is getting the word out:)

If they made the $5.25+ million mark on Kickstarter, it's really $6.25 million +, because Seth Mcfarlane would match up to a million in the last week of the fundraiser.

Jun 26 - HUGE NEWS IN UPDATE 21: Seth MacFarlane has just agreed to match up to $1,000,000 in pledges, starting at $4M. If we reach $5M, he'll donate a full $1M

Well, again, that is just amazing:)

Haven't watched Family Guy in awhile but I respect MacFarlane for doing this.
