I can kinda see what you mean, Ratty, but I imagine once it's got a mane and tail in place, that won't apply anymore. And DANG, that looks good.
Yeah, I can't finish this until I get a lead on fiber optics. As for looking like a bear, I think it was because I had the chest a little too far back, the rear legs were a little shorter and because he doesn't have a tail. I've since tweaked all that, but he still looks a bit like Polar Claw. Not sure why yet.
Update. Doesn't look like a bear anymore. Is pretty much a Tron-Okami-Tank hybrid. It's hard to say which of my 3 Zoid-formers is my favorite.
AWESOME!!!... well my razorclaw is a bear... a polar to be exact since it was the only BW figure I had left to destroy and the more I look at it the better! I even got a tail ready to be mounted and I'll use hot-glue for the first time to make the hair(manes) around his neck/head.. that's gonna be though I think
I don't know if mine will have a mane, but how cool would a mane made out of side glow fiber optics be? Light up with a red LED.
The side pic of beast mode reminded me of Victory Leo for a second with the dual cannons. Great work but wheres the arm mode? LoL How will he connect to GF Megatron?
I feel like my GF http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/325809-metatron.html is covered. Predaking also has dual cannons... and I'm committed to do a Dibison zoidformer already.
This is very good, and I have to say I'm impressed. Though you very rarely seem to paint your customs, not that I mind a minimalistic approach.
It's too bad you couldn't have found a resin cast of the Botcon Razorclaw head, it would have saved you heavily on funds. Regardless, I give you a lot credit for not compromising your vision/aesthetic sense here. On an aside, if you ever get into doing some casting (or maybe you're already familiar with it), it couldn't hurt to make a mold for BCRC's noggin once you get him in hand, you might be able to recoup some funds and then some Excellent work man!!
