I need some other opinions, how rare is a VSY set (grimlock vs soundwave). Anyone know how many there are? I've been given the impression that it's rarer then the G2 megatron / starscream ATB set. Thoughts?

In terms of actual release numbers, its probably less rare, since it was released in Japan instead of in a few small neighbourhoods in Ohio for a very limited time, I've seen it go for over a grand. But like many G1 Japanese items, they're very hard to find due to the international nature of the item, and due to the popularity of both characters, the VSY set may demand a higher price, I've seen the (actual) cassette tape alone listed at hundreds of dollars. Condition will probably also play a factor. But since none of this has any bearing on the Transformers: Prime television show, yes, this was the wrong place to post this. I'd recommend exploring the site to get a better idea of what kind of topics get posted where.
