i heard someone online say that in the movie novel Ransack appears after they transport and attacks jetfire i was wondering if this ment a slight cameo in the movie for him or if this is a novel character only now
SPOILERS Jetfire presumably refers to him as a seeker of whom hes always disliked, and kills him in about 5 seconds

Doubt it. Ransack turns into a WWI biplane, so unless he's in the Smithsonian with Jetfire or any other place where they display old German WWI planes, I don't think he can feasably be cannonized in-movie. In fact, he's probably the least likley scout to appear in film (I think Ejector makes a cameo at one point).
I don't think any of the scouts were ever meant to actually be in it, like Breakaway the deluxe. Just line padding to milk the market for every last penny possible. At least the scouts are good toys, I hear some of the deluxes aren't that good (excluding Breakaway)
That's the thing, though - according to the novel adaptation the biplane-former was to be at the Smithsonian with Jetfire, a place with old German WWI planes. That's where he gets his altmode, after all. Even before Orci confirmed a biplane-former was planned but dropped, I thought Ransack was one of the most likely Scouts to be in the movie. (Excluding Ejector and Scalpel/The Doctor, since they were immediately obvious.) With a major scene of the film taking place at the Smithsonian, that really links him to the movie more than the mostly random others. Dune Runner seemed a bit likely too, since they went to the trouble of making an all new mold of Landmine's DPV form.
So they were both in the Smithsonian for as long as they were and they didn't attack each other at all?! Were they in some sort of stasis lock? Or did they attack each other at night when everyone was one?

Y'know I think Dune Runner might be in the game. I caught a glimpse of something very similar in one of the videos.
