DOTM had Sentinel, but ROTF had Jetfire...hmm...they can both be 5/10. Ugh.
TF1 still has stupid toilet humour and unnecessarily drawn out human scenes. But it has the magic that can't be beaten. 7/10.
AOE had Lockdown, Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci and space dinosaurs. 8/10

AOE is easily the best, I actually loved it.
    DOTM was decent.
    Transformers was just okay.
ROTF was garbage.. with a really cool forest fight scene... that might still be the best fight in Bayformers.

The '86 movie is in a whole different league, as a matter of fact it's there along with Beast Wars... in the league of pure awsomeness and nostalgia that can't be touched or matched.

1 Thought it had a decent balance, flow, and development of both Autobots/D-Cons
3 Not much development, but ok storyline. Decent amount of carryover characters, chicago raid got a little long and drawn out.
4 Really really slow at times, scattershot with much of the plot, limited character development, just kind of all over the place.
2 Started off great with the Autobots hunting down the D-Cons, but really lacked a cohesive plot, or character development. Almost better than the new one, but both are scattershot.

One thing I will give ROTF is that it didn't have the cheesy "ah-ha" moments of 4 (with Megs being Galvi), or DOTM (soundwave and sentinal's rolls), but between the twins, and Sam's roommate, the whole middle of the film was pretty unnecessary. I do think it had one of the better final battles.

    I liked ROTF.

AOE was good but was too long also I don't get why people call ROTF racist. What film were they watching. I don't see how it was racist.

I admit the plot could have been a little better and I'm sure that if the writers strike didn't happen the film would have been 5 times better.

The first movie is overated as hell. I don't get how a movie where the humans get most of the screen time is the best one. I hated when SamWitwickyGirl said every movie was better than the last and some guy posted laugh gif.

    1. Transformers - 9/10
    2. Age of Extinction - 7/10
    3. Revenge of The Fallen - 6/10
    4. Dark of The Moon - 5/10*

    * because of unbalanced action - almost none in first hour, and boring final battle, the most annoying characters (Deep Wang), wasting Shockwave, and unbelievably stupid "captured Autobots" scene. Oh, and because of Carly too.

    1.Transformers 7/10
    big gap
    2. AOE 5/10
    bigger gap
    3. ROTF 2/10

    and the almost unwatchable
    4. DOTM 0.5/10
Had some amazing designs but completely butchered the cons and the humans...scratch that everything other than the transformers designs was irritatingly bad. Killing all four of the main Decepticons in the way they did was the ultimate fu to fans of those imo. I only saw AOE cause the gf wanted to otherwise I would be done with the movies after DOTM

AOE 7/10 Does a decent job, goes on too long and 'romeo and juliet'
DOTM 6/10 Does a lot well but Megatron getting a peptalk by Carly? Sam's Job Hunt?
2007 5/10 Does some stuff quite well but has a great deal of issues.
ROTF 5/10 Less alien talk, more bots. But UNDERPANTS. and a very drawn out ill-focused final act.

DOTM was intended to be the last of the series until a major reboot. That's why they all died.
