Hope this goes here, just tried to get on rangerboard and I received a white and orange page saying account suspended. is anyone else having trouble or is it my account has been suspended ?

does anyone know how i can get on the site to find out why my account has been suspended ?

 

What in the world is Rangerboard?

And I'm pretty sure this (potentially) violates Rule 14.

 

aw crap , just read rule 14. I only posted here was because i know people on here are on rangerboard too.

and rangerboard is like this only for power rangers

 

Rangerboard's host, according to Decade, has suspended the Rangerboard account temporarily for ongoing denial of service attacks.

If you were banned, you'd still be directed to the actual Rangerboard site, just not able to log on.

And whats denial of service attacks ?

 

Basically what the host is doing, denying service. But with the host doing it, it's being controlled by them, until the source of the attacks can be found.

 

Their webhost has been attacked constantly the last few days, it's not your account. It's the board owner's hosting that's being "suspended".

If you've been there for seven years, you'd know that the site is working on improving. Mods are much more nicer these days and aren't so quick to ban others.

Granted, it's still very cliquey, and will always be. I've yet been to a forum where it isn't.

But to pop in a thread just to bad mouth a site, is that really necessary?

 

i feel wrath in the atmosphere.

the only rule in question here concerns importing drama in from other sites.

but to ask the status of a site seems okay.
