Well I certainly didn't know about this guy, G1 names was very expansive back then.

 

I just found these bayverse beast wars designs on Reddit and they look fantastic, if they ever make a beast wars movie I would really want to see these designs but change megatron’s and Optimus primal’s heads because imo they look out of character optimus primal megatron cheetor my personal favorite terrorsaur/starscream rhinox/ironhide scorpinok/soundwave dinobot/sideswipe waspinator/bumblebee rattrap tarantulas

 

This might be reaching but in Transformers 2007 Ironhide said Mojo "leaked lubricant" all over his foot. Now G1cartoon Ironhide once said "leakin lubricant" in the first episode when they were on the Ark.

So that's a weird homage to G1 that the movies made as vulgar as it is.

 

...wouldn't "Boomer" actually be considered a somewhat badass cybertronian name? Especially with his sonic weaponry?

What would've happened if Unicron didn't exist in Transformer the movie? Would it be the Autobots lead by Magnus versus the Decepticons with Starscream as the leader? Would Hot Rod get the chance to step up and gain the Matrix? And would Megatron and the rest of the abandoned Decepticons drift in space for a while?

It makes me lol a little when I see some users' old hypothetical Masterpiece signatures because of just what the MP line has become. Like back when they made them it seemed perfectly reasonable to assume Takara would be well past the core '84 line-up and MP-44 would be like Pipes or some post-TFTM character and not Optimus Prime yet again.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but I'm curious: Who came up with the tagline for the '86 Movie?

The line echoes Nietzsche's "Beyond Good and Evil".

Has there ever been an answer to who dreamed it up? I've looked, but I can't find the answer as easily as I would've thought.

Was it a random thought and the connection to the preexisting title is just a coincidence? Was it a direct reference? Did someone learn of the original line and think that it would be a good thing to riff on?
