More like “what people want”..... But you don’t always get what you want

And yeah I like poking the bear too

Didn't the Autobots prove that superior air power could defeat them, during the time menasour and superion were created?

Traditionally in the franchise, the Decepticons are the bad guys portrayed as tyrannical sadists and thugs. However, there is one way they outshine the Autobots, the encouraging promotion to the little guy.

Megatron, Soundwave and Galvatron have all been Decepticon leaders despite having relatively tiny alt modes.

Ratbat, a lowly cassette, has led the Decepticons.

You don't even have to be Cybertronian to lead them. Lord Zarak, Giga and Mega also commanded the Decepticons. Even the shrunken down Japanese Pretenders commanded the Seacon drone army.

Animated Dirt Boss though small in stature led the Constructicons.

Thunderwing and Bludgeon were quite small outside their shells with Thunders demonstrating you don't have to be a Decepticon to be worthy of the Matrix.

With the exception of Spike and Metalhawk, when did the Autobots show such encouragement of the little guy?

I wasn't sure where to post thing but I think this thread is fine.

My point: I really think that the whole 5mm ports things is old, a bad concept, and simply sucks.

I really wish that Hasbro could consider looking into something that would be better than a 5mm post and hole for accessories and everything else.

Seriously, it's a hole and a peg... which in time gets worn and loose.

I wish that they'd consider a design that would snap securely, be solid and firm, but still easy to take out as needed.

Maybe a shape that would allow the part to be aligned correctly, maybe a small dual lip that would create a snug "click".

I understand that something with a spring or such wouldn't be economical, so simple designs that would be part of the mold could be tested.

Just looking at the Siege Weaponizers with their arms and legs (and other parts) that are so loose or worn so fast that they have trouble holding togeher... I really wish that such a design could have been done with them.

Look at the combiners... the gestalts' hands and feet either barely fit, hold, or even break the hole/connector. Such a design would improve all figures greatly.

For such parts that would require articulation, then just have those particular parts to have an additional part from that connector, which would have the articulation required (rotation, bend).

One suggestion.. hexagonal pegs on top, that has a lower end (the tip) with a dual lip design lower on the peg which the hole would be done accordingly, so the part can be placed in at various angles, and the dual lip would snap the part in snug... no more falling off by itself, no more being loose and not holding well, and easy to pull and pop out/off.

Your story reminds me about how my late dad (hope he had a wonderful Father's Day up there) once took our grandmother for a New Year's reunion in Hawaii with his brothers' families. During a visit to the volcano national park he got a vial of ash despite the local legend that it is bad luck to take home ash from the volcano because it will anger Pele, and my cousins' warnings of a curse. Well, his and my grandmother's flight back home had an unexpected delay, and my cousins said "I told you so!"

When / if they ever do the Hall of Fame thing again I wanna try to get Scrounge in there somehow, even if he doesn't win it'd be cool to see him acknowledged for his sacrifice in the Marvel series.

He's relatively more obscure than most of the ones in there at the moment, he has a charming design and personality, and he did more than Erector who had a big chance of getting in! He deserves it for such a tragic and morbid demise.

Why hasn't there been a bus Transformer?

Maybe we were less perverted/sensitive in the 80s.

Bob Budiansky was so sick of Hasbro's shit by then he just decided "You know what? I'm gonna name this one Erector. Why not."

May I ask what a "nameslap" is? I tried to google it, but couldn't find a satisfying answer.
