How is this a random transformer thought?
Cuz its random.
Wasn't sure where to post it to be honest. This seemed a reasonable fit.
Is this better? Everyone asks where Optimus Prime's trailer goes when he transforms but no ever asks about Rodimus Prime's trailer or Megatron's gun mount.
We can throw in Thunderclash's trailer too.
Or this. Nautilator transforms into a lobster but can Submarauder and Finback be considered shell fish?
Could a computer reconstruction program show us what Bludgeon's face looked like?
What are Spike and Buster's real first names? Or like Indiana Jones, were they named after the dog?
If the Matrix contains millennia of accumulated wisdom, how come it couldn't think of a better name than Rodimus?
Who named Banzai-tron in the fiction? Sounds more like a nickname Jazz might have given him?
Is it any wonder Beast Wars Megatron renamed himself given his original name was Gnashteeth?
Spike and Buster are actual names, just not very common ones. However, considering their dad goes by "Sparkplug", I wouldn't be surprised if they also had weird nicknames.
Maybe the Matrix just didn't like Hot Rod for some reason, so it gave him a stupid name? (Or maybe one of the old dead guys in the Matrix was really tired or something and just came up with a bad name by accident.)
Gnashteeth is a terrible name. Even if he hadn't been evil, I'm sure he would have renamed himself somehow just to get a better name than THAT. (I'm kind of surprised that other guys with not-so-great names don't do the same thing, actually. Who wants to be named "Squeezeplay" or "Needlenose"?)
Maybe they're related to Taserface from Marvel?
If I ever got involved with producing 3rd party transformers, I'd love to make low budget commertials for our products loosely parodying the old '80s tv ads. Only instead of children, I'd hire guys like JobbytheHong, Thew or Emgo to mess around with the toys. Ideally it'd devolve into Filthy Frank levels of insanity...
I think it's a shame the writers never had Wheelie wield the Matrix. Just for the chance to hear Peter Cullen say, "Arise, Optimus Rhyme!"
Random Transformers thought of the day:
There are worse things to be addicted to than Transformers.
"Hear the wisdom, feel the power,
Matrix, light our darkest hour!"
That actually sounds pretty good.
Ah, you're too kind. Rhyming "power" with "hour" is a pretty basic glitch move.
Separate names with a comma.
