Hi all NCers.... The IMAX tickets for ROTF have opened today. The first showing is 12:01 on Wednesday June 24th, however, that might not be the most convenient time for everyone. So far, from myself and several others that want to go, the best time appears to be for the 7PM showing on Thursday, June 25th.

I'm looking to find out who wants to join to go see at this time, as I can order tickets, or just to find out if we can all meet up.

 

I just bought tickets earlier this morning for the midnight show on the 24th. My partner wasn't too thrilled about that, so I may have a spare ticket lol.

WoW Dormamu you're waitling an entire extra day to see ROTF? I figured you would shoot for the Wednesday show.

Definitely gonna be a weekend (Sat or Sun) for me, bro  

 

I would have, but I have work and school work.

 

I'll have to wait as well due to work. I'll go to see it that weekend, then I'll go with the group when we go see it after opening weekend.

 

At best I could do a Friday night. To see it on Thursday, I would have to leave right after seeing the movie. I have a 1 1/2 hour drive minimum just to get back home and be ready for work in the morning. And that's after a 3 hour movie with previews. Not that I couldn't be gung-ho and see it anyways on Thursday.  

 

What happened to seeing it on the 11th of July? I'm not sure if the earlier date works for me.

 

I also thought this was the general consensus of those who posted. I'm fine with this date. I also don't really want the IMAX experience to be super-fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed the 2007 movie after I had seen it twice in the theaters and had everything time to sink in.

Also with postponing it just a bit, we can focus a bit more on the social aspect as opposed to watching the movie trying to take everything in.
