Hate to break it to you, but there's already a Deluxe. Two if you count the G2 one.

That whole thing where Sunstorm was a failed prototype that Shockwave made in an attempt to install a fusion reactor in a clone of Starscream that went completely nuts and became a religious zealot was all from the Dreamwave era. I don't think their stuff is considered canon by Hasbro or Fun Pub.

Actually, I think most people try to forget that DW and Pat Lee exist nowadays... :lol

In the G1 cartoon, he was just an unnamed Seeker that was a part of the Welcoming Committee.

I was actually disagreeing with the poster that was trying to justify that Sunstorm should be considered a solo Seeker that isn't affiliated with any specialized group rather than a part of the Welcoming Committee.

I was just offering up an attempt to ease the minds of those unwilling to accept Sunstorm as a seperate seeker from the Rainmaker now known as Nova Storm...besides its been official sense late 2010 that they were not the same...

You aren't dense and I am a fan just like you and I wanted to help give back to the fandom just like my best friend Cascadia said. This was born of a passion and love for transformers, not a desire to be a big name or something. What ever comes from this will be received with humble joy because I love this fandom.
Thanks for the attempt it is much appreciated :)

Errr... we also have 2 blue Seekers with Thundercracker and the blue Rainmaker. And Sunstrom appeared in a different episode than the one which featured the Rainmakers.

Such a shame... I always liked "HAIL STORM" & "SHOCK STORM". Both are synonymous with rain and the names even coincide with their color schemes, yellow lightning for Shock Storm and blue hail chunks for Hail Storm.

The storm thing is pretty stupid considering Sunstorm isn't a Rainmaker. I don't mind weather related names, but there are better ways.

I'm unimpressed with the official names, but that happens when they take forever to come up with them and you already have much better ones you've been using in your head for years.

Just revisiting this thread to remind myself what their names were :p  . Sorry   . I do appreciate the effort put into the naming and putting them forward to the rest of fans but still i'm remain not as convinced as i want to be.

Perhaps i am out of touch but yeah.

I find this argument for Sunstorm to not be the Welcoming seeker and being a Rainmaker instead very agreeable.

    Hail storm works.

I am not really gonna explain the yellow rainmaker but I worked over 4 long years building nova storm and if you want to know him better to understand why he works more than sunstorm then just message me

The length of time one works on something is not reason for it to be successful alone. I don't want to come off as completely adverse/unsupportive.

Ion Storm, personally, i like. It could have been Electro Storm but maybe too close to Thundercracker... Just thinking out loud.

I reread the facebook blurb in the first post. Let us hope the Rainmakers get some time in media to help introduce them. All the best.
