I think most of you are failing to grasp the most obvious part of this thread. It isn't the names themselves but who came up with them. This wasn't Funpub's orginal idea. It came from a couple of fans. Female fans at that. This is a historic moment for the fandom and instead of congradulating them, most of you are crying about why they where not named this or that.

They just need to make that flamethrower the blue guy had in the 2 second clip he existed.

I didn't even remember more sets of recolors in the show, I though the rest of the show just had random animation errors.

The -storm name doesn't make you a rainmaker. If that was the case Sandstorm is on the wrong team and has the wrong alt modes......

My preference is for Cybertronian molds...so I would like FOC versions...

...agreed :) ...who needs to be named next...

I'd personally prefer Red Wing to be done seperately..,unless they use the Classics mold...in which case I'd want updated decoes similar to Universe Acid Storm...if FOC mold or Armadascreams mold then all three actual Rainmakers should be done...

...I would sign a petition for a three pack...

I'm talking about the question posted to facebook. If the names were created that far back, then I guess my question wasn't the impetus that started the discussion. Still, "Vector Prime" or the powers that be decided the facebook answer would be the reveal of the names. In any case, I'm just glad they're out there now.

Pretty Cool names now I wonder if the rainmakers besides Acid Storm will get new official retail figures in the future.

Remember Kids Sunstorm is a creamsicle and creamsicles are tasty.

Those are good name ideas actually.

I don't really understand how this is any different than someone on here saying "these are their names". It's not like Hasbro has endorsed this have they?

Which is sort of lie saying we were talking about Star Wars lore, but saying we were not talking about Empire Strikes Back.

Howdy, olevelo. Ask Vector Prime is an in-character Q&A run by Fun Publications, the group who runs BotCon and the TCC magazine. The names are as official as anything else that we do.

Cool new Seekers. I hope they get some interesting characterization.
