Name: Rail-Twin Alliance: Autobot Function: Support & Human Safety Transport Alt mode: Bullet train Rail-Twin Was once an ordinary bullet train, but then Astrotrain tried to create his own army and Rail-Twin was changed into a member of the Astroforce. Tho the experiment failed, Energon remnants from Astrotrain’s endeavors began to work on the locomotive that would become Rail-Twin. It took nearly two years for the unmanned, dormant train to gain true consciousness. Another six months of thinking and processing before he learned how to transform into his robot mode. Of course, by this time Rail-Twin had been long abandoned by Astrotrain and was unsure of what his purpose was. Having taken to his robot mode, Rail-Twin left the other fallen members of the Astroforce behind and journeyed out into the world. Rail-Twin did not know how to react when he saw humans and quickly made his exit from the city. Teletran One had picked up on Rail-Twin’s energy signature and was able to track him. Optimus Prime sent Powerglide and Wheeljack to meet this mysterious new transformer. Rail-Twin was ecstatic to meet others like him and swiftly joined the ranks of the Autobots. Once he learned the truth of his origin, he vowed to aid in the capture of Astrotrain. He may consider the Decepticon to be his creator, but his good nature won’t allow him to leave Astrotrain to his own devices. Rail-Twin Fights furiously when called upon but truly believes his main purpose now is to keep Humans out of the fray and serves to transport them to safety at record speeds. Rail-Twin has no idea that Astrotrain was fully aware that he was being converted from an inanimate machine into a transformer. Worse than that, however, is that Astrotrain is just waiting until the right moment to speak three little words that will awaken Rail-Twin from his sleeper state. When the time comes, Astrotrain plans to relish in watching Rail-Twin turn on his friends with savage brutality.
