Got RAH Vader today, the episode III version from BBTS and have mixed feelings. Why? Well I love the mold and all but the toy came to me broken, the peg inside the helmet was borken so the top portion won't connect to the mask I e-mailed BBTS right away and within 10 minutes i got a response and they scheduled UPS to pick it up from me tomorrow and for a new one to be shipped out! If you guys get this toy, beware of the peg, it is small and fragile and MAY arrive broken. Sorry to hear about the broken peg...but cool pictures! Other than the broken peg, how do you find the quality of the toy?
the quality is pretty damn good minus the hands cuz they dont snap into place, the gloves are hollow so they sorta just slide on. and the picture with his arms crossed....the hands are are premade that way, what i mean is, they made once piece where hte arms are crossed and his stumps of arms just slide into them. as for the price, i got him from bbts so it was just shy of 200. i dunno if i'm missing something or not but his saber doesn't clip onto his belt. i saw pics of the ep 6 version of vader and the hilt actually connects to the belt but this one doesn't so thats another drawback but all in all i'm pleased with the figure. in scale, he's smaller than the hasbro 12' figures and far less chunky so he wont be in scale with them, lets hope that Sideshow makes a cheap and beautiful vader piece.
Nice pictures! I really want that vader, but I just can't bring myself to buy him for that much. I don't know why, but I find that last picture funny. Looks like someone kicked that stormtrooper in the sack.
i love the RAH figures. i wanted the ep4 version though, which is going for around £150 these days. so i limited myself and i got all the marvel ones my wallet is putting a conract on my head.
