For those who don't know about our "radicon project" here's a link to the discussion and detail:

    Here is the WIP thread:
    http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/230687-rftk-g1-scourge.html

Finally complete! I decided to go with the G1 head, as I though it meshed better with the overall appearance of the figure. Wings are easily detachable in bot mode, for increased poseability. In hovercraft mode, the lighter blue graphic towards the front of the figure was hand cut w/ styrene, giving a little extra detail.

nice work, I like it. If you could replace the head with a smaller one, it will be excellent.

Excellent work on this, F_R. I really dig everything about it (though it would be cool to see the pink claws and the Sculpt-bot head on the finished version here). I do like the original G1 head now that I've seen it with this custom. I do think it looks a bit boxy, but that's how it was, so not your fault on that one. The new articulation works great and looks perfect with this (Cybertron Hot Shot/more recent repaint of that mold). The only thing that doesn't look right is the different shade of blue on the top of the alt mode--is it the original G1 sticker/reprolabel or is it a decal? It's slightly off, but it still looks great.

Also, these are all being done for a great cause, so I respect you guys for working hard on these RFTK bots and this boxed set.

I got to say it's a improvement to the old G1 toy. I do agree that he's head is huge and kinda blocky, but all and all you did a helluva awesome job.

Good stuff. Agree on the head size but considering what you started with, bloody good work :)

Fuck me, that's properly good. Hope we get some shots of all the customs & box at some point - and, of course, that we hear how the auction goes when it eventually happens. Hats off to all involved.

That looks awesome! If you do this again, you should think about maybe making the vehicle shell fold open like the tianiums does so that you don't need to remove the wings for the added range of motion.

That head is probably the only thing that's bothering me, but then again it's part of the character, so it works. Everything else rocks!:thumbs2:
