OFFS! This just continues to show how little anyone even understands anything anymore. Why does everything need to be turned into some dark and edgy thing? Whatever happened to fun? Why is Disney the only studio that understands fun these days? Power Rangers does NOT need to be rated R because that goes against everything Power Rangers stands for. Why is it is so hard to comprehend this? I feel like companies need a degree in rocket science to understand the basic properties of a TV series/movie/comic book/etc.

We've HAD dark Power Ranger shows, we've had enough things made to be dark and edgy, and it's boring. It's like the zombie movie genre. People are sick of it. Heck, someone already pointed out how Disney is succeeding without being dark and edgy. Look at the Marvel movies like Guardians of the Galaxy or The Avengers. They had dark points in them, but they were still fun and entertaining and mostly lighthearted.
