Great trailer! And were-jaguar, yes! Hellboy's voice does seem a bit odd and breaks here and there but I guess the actor needs to grow into the role a bit. Still, I'm looking forward to this!
Not bad. The more horror-themed approach (scary monsters, painful werejaguar transformations, making out in blood) fits Hellboy. And I think David Harbour will do Hellboy justice. Not sure about Hellboy's strained relationship with his dad though. Did that happen in the comics?
Well that was better than the first Trailer. Hollywood can't have any good straight father figures anymore for some reason, they all need to be screwed up now. It's the latest trend.
This looks even more ridiculous with every new trailer. Nazis in red/blue 3D glasses? Angels from Evangelion destroying London? What seem to be ghostbusters with proton packs on their backs riding horses? WTF? Also, the CGI looks painfully bad. Look at that skeletal Eva Angel, or the werejaguar ... I cannot believe that the effects of the first movie which is, how many years old? A decade?.... and they looked better. And this is certainly R-rated, I expected the boobs of the elf lady to fall out every scene she was in. Geez, wear a bra. Also what sort of accent does Hellboy has? I can barely understand anything he says. There are four Hellboy movies. Two animated ones too. He at least looked like Hellboy from the comics - big jaw, large brow. This guy looks... wrong. Like, he is muscular, but compared to his upper body his head is ginormous, likely due to all the makeup. The hair is making it even larger. I look at him and I keep thinking of Samurai Cop where the actor was wearing the super bad wig.
Personally, I kinda liked the first trailer better. It still looks like a fun time to me though. Some of those monster fights look like old school God of War. It does look a bit like they had to dub over some of David Harbour’s dialogue though because that makeup is really limiting his facial expressions even if it looks very comics accurate.
The fact that Baba-Yaga’s chicken leg house is in it has me on board. I hated almost everything else but hey that’s Baba-Yaga’s house, nice.
Probably because David Harbour can’t act through the makeup. His face is so static and awkward, and the CGI looks cheap. This really looks bad.
No surprises there... Wish they went back and instead would make an animated netflix series. I mean check out the Amazing Screw-On Head animated short. I want a Hellboy toon in that Mignola style
Not surprised, as it doesn't really look all that good, which is a shame since David looks great as Hellboy. Though who knows, maybe the reviews will allow this movie to make more than it was expected to like what mirculously happened to Battle Angel Alita (I still don't have an interest in paying to see it).
