Amazing how the ones that throw away the great blessings and talents that have been bestowed upon them are the most celebrated. While those who gave their all until the very end, for example Ronnie James Dio, pass with barely a notice from the wider world outside their base of fans. A sad commentary.
That's what a combination of drugs and booze will do to a singer. She looked like a 59 year old due to the drug use when she's 48. And that is even worse given how young she was.
Michael Jackson is dead. Whitney Houston is now dead. Yet Madonna plays the Super Bowl halftime show. So unfair. Anyway. I'm saddened more by the waste of her talent than her actual death. "On top of the world" pretty much sums up where she was in the early 90's. Shame. Damn you Bobby Brown.
RIP Whitney Houston. Twitter's flooded with all these well wishes. At least we still got Justin Bieber... Nah, I wanna kill JB.
I guess I'm one of the few who's never knowingly heard her music. That said, the most notable thing I remember about her was that time she said she had Bobby pull a turd out of her ass...
It's a shame that she dies, but I am sadly calling drugs as the cause of death. She was so young too :/
I just saw the interview she did years ago where she was asked about her drug use, specifically crack. She said something to the effect that she makes too much money to be doing crack. Then came the infamous quote of "Crack is whack."
Not gonna lie here. When I first heard about this, I legit thought it was about Whitney Cummings for at least a good day.
She was a true natural. Too many singers over do it these days. Like christina agulera, gah. She can't end a song without eooeeeAaeeuuooouU ehh ayyayay ehehy eheahheehheyyeehaaha hahah eeieieooeuuu 'ing. sum1 slap her mak her stop.
