It's hard to believe he won't be up on stage presenting the iphone 5. I wonder how happle will do without his leadership. He was truly a pioneer.

Even though I don't own any apple products I respect him for his motivation and drive "to never give up even if everyone thinks other wise." I just read rumors that he did not like helping charities etc, I don't know if is true or not. Well God or life if you don't believe in God had different plans for him.

    RIP

Shit. I've never bought an Apple product in my life, but I had some serious respect for Mr. Jobs.

While I've never been a huge Apple fan, I always respected Mr. Steve Jobs. He made a huge mark on the industry and will go down in history.

Yet, iodine can prevent it the same way vitamin C can prevent scurvy.

As for the news itself... It's no secret that I'm not a fan of the company. The products are okay, it's just the absolute insistence on Apple's way or the highway that I don't like. Hopefully flash isn't needed to get through the pearly gates. I will admit that Apple did help to propel the tech industry though. As Apple competed against the other companies, they had to keep improving as well. So for that, I do appreciate Apple's contributions.

As for Steve personally, I do hate to hear this news. I may not like the way he ran his company, but the capitalist in me understands why he did it and I can respect him for it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He has my respect as a person, and I hate that his life was cut short and that his family must now mourn.

I am deeply saddened by this. I love Apple and their products, and he was a fantastic leader of the company. His passing is a huge loss for his family, and the technology industry.

Don't have Apple products either, but his inventions set the bar for every other corporation out there, he, his inventions and his direction will be missed.
He fought long, hard and bravely. Now he can rest. :rip

Truly a sad day. RIP Steve Jobs.

Also, is it just me, or is it almost like he held on until the Apple 4S event finished. Can you imagine the mess if he passed away yesterday?
