No kidding. He was so looking forward to going to botcon. Also, for anyone who is a member of the collector club forums I started a thread about it there.
I had never met Shaun in rel life, but I've spoken with him once or twice on these boards, and to know that he's passed... it's just devastating.
This is a terrible shame I met Shaun at a few Botcons. He was always a very polite genuine guy who loved the Transformers He would always say hello and offer to help out I'm truely stunned Rest in peace my friend
What?!?! I never spoke to him directly(PM, Chat, Phone..nothing), but he seemed like a guy full of life and never had anything bad to say about anything or anyone. I've read many of his posts on here and I just can't believe it......it wasn't that long ago he posted here.....this really makes me sad...and I really don't know what to say.... RIP, man....never knew you, but I'm sure you would've made a great friend.
You're joking? That's an idiotic thing for me to say, sorry, but I saw the thread title and thought it was some kind of 'Botcon gag'. I'm stunned. Really. We didn't 'know' each other but shared a lot of PM's. He stuck up for me in a few altercations, and was looking forward to Botcon and the Movie so much. He was a 'stranger', yet I'm so upset - I'll miss the guy. Sincere (and I mean sincere, I know what it's like to lose someone close) condolances to his family.
That was the most difficult frontpage I ever had to write... http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=137766
I just wanted to say a proper good-bye to Shaun. He was a good guy to talk too on the boards, and always fun to converse with about Transformers and life. You'll be missed hope you find that great pie in the sky...
WHAT ?!? He passed away ? OMG. I can't believe it! I never met him in real life, but he was one of the kindest persons here. Unbelievable. RIP Shaun_C
You did a good job. Sorry if I am posting too much on this topic. He was a friend of mine and my roomie at botcon. I was so looking forward to meeting him. Now I never will.
It was also the most difficult to accept. Shaun was a great guy, and even though I hardly knew him, will remember him.
I'm stunned too....I knew him not at all, but felt his presence around the board, and I have heard many good things about him from others who knew him. ......
Wow, just wow, what else can you say to that, its weird but I'm sure a lot of us feel like a family member of sorts died, its weird how people you've never met or even really talked to passing can hit so close to home, a sad day for all transfans indeed.
Sorry to hear about him passing. I never really spoke to him but it's always sad to see some so young and liked pass.
This is horrible, horrible news. I can't believe it. Shaun was literally the nicest Transformers fan I've ever met. Scratch that, probably the nicest person PERIOD I've ever met. In complete shock. Don't even know what to say or do here.
