What? FINALLY! I've waited years for this moment to come! How I hate their songs. But now it is too late, the damage is done. They will still continue to play their songs on the radio. I can't stand this exaggerated harmony and happyness that their songs express. Wuuaah... Ugly. Especially "Shiny Happy People" is my most hated song by that band. But on the other hand I like "It's the end of the world as we know it". It was by them too, wasn't it?
Bill Berry (drums) left the band in 1997 but they didn't break up. They released Up (1998), Reveal (2001), Around The Sun (2004), Accelerate (2008) & Collapse Into Now (2011). Plus some compilations, live recordings and DVDs. You probably ignore than the band hated it too and only played it live once (on SNL). Haven't heard it on the radio in years. Other than the occasional airing of The One I love, Losing My Religion and Everybody Hurts, are they really getting airplay?
Bands that have social conscience tend to get label that Pearl jam is this close to that label if it werent their material is less radio friendly.
