I got the crazy devy devastator legs. I cancelled all the other parts, no worth the price. I caved and got the superion head based on my friends ranting and raving about it. I regret it, not $35 nice.

I'd be all over that. Assuming that the releases were spread out a little bit. Sure, the wait to get a full Devy would suck, but it would prevent me having to spend 300 bones all at once.

I hear you. When I was a kid I couldn't spend $30 at once for all six originals, so it would be bonus nostalgia! :lol

I concur, I don't feel like paying $50 for two hands and some balls for my Legends Devastator.

Lol. I feel like a jack ass for buying the sets now. It was an impulse buy. I saw reviews on YouTube and decided preorder directly from them all the parts. It was cheaper but still expensive.

I always wanted a good show accurate Devastator. With these sets that's what I get. I figured, get them now or be sorry later. It's happened to me in the past. Would I have preferred a gift set? Most def. But since I don't see one happening soon I decided to bite the bullet.

I think the deciding factor for me was actually seeing what the finish product looked like. When I bought these, all the sets had been out. There were no surprises. Now with Predaking... I want to get the parts but I think I need to see more.

worth every penny. why dont people consider the time and effort and developement and final cost for the CRAZYDEVY guys, i think the prices are more than fair, especially when you see the final product and these do sell for $100+ on ebay all the time, they are perfectly sick. :)

Absolutely, I'd gladly hand over $300 to FP for a complete new Devastator.

I have voted with my wallet, as I won't be buying any of their accessories until the prices is dramatically lowered, as others have said here.

Also, while I certainly see the appeal of what CD is doing, a large part of me likes the G1 toys for all of their brickiness. It's part of what makes them "G1" to me.

Another angle of this is that I'm perfectly aware of the costs, etc. that go into producing a mass-released "custom" figure, and I certainly don't expect something like this to be dirt cheap.

I mean, if you don't like the prices they are charging,

Well I paid my money and am very happy with the set TBH.
If you don't like it / don't think it's worth the money then don't get it. Alternatively wait for a price drop that might never come.

    In my opinion this

I am a very very insane collector and I refuse to Crazy Dev stuff. The price is far far too high even for my tastes. The stuff looks nice but it comes down to the fact the Devestator is pushing 20 years now and how much can parts even do for him.

Most of the Devastator parts were worth the price if you ordered early (CD's pricing goes up as it gets closer to release).

For me, it's the Predaking wings that are not worth the price. Those are nothing other than plastic sleeves for the existing wings. If they made the Divebomb backpack more secure, I'd have ordered without a second thought.

That is truly awesome. I would happily include that alongside my CHUG line up.

But the CD prices are ******ed and until they drop dramatically, I'll be leaving well alone.

Yes. In a heartbeat. Without even thinking about it. Might be the best 300 I ever spent on transforming robots.
