Strange that Hasbro seem to have just flipped off the international fans over the last few weeks. It\'s like Hasbro don\'t like money.

Maybe because hasbro USA is concerned about North American customers? Hasbro uk usually gets the shaft but that’s because they don’t really try. Hasbro Asia usually releases all the USA exclusives as regular retail items.

 

Mattel could learn from them.

 

Mattel has/had woeful distribution problems with their subsidiary Mega Construx in the United States. I hear Mattel Creations sorta like pulse is opening up their website to international buyers.

 

I'm not talking Mega, just Mattel in general.
Let me frame this.
It's around late 2012/early 2013. Mattel is at a show announcing the Max Steel reboot and toy line.
Mattel rep says they won't be making 12 inch figures for the line.
Not that they aren't making 12 inch figures for the US market, they aren't making 12 inch figures at all.

That was a lie. Mattel did make 12 inch figures but only sold them in Central and Latin America.

 

Remember how before Titans Return we were all like "Where are our friggin' Sharkticon updates?!"

And now in like less than a year we'll have 3 different colorations of the TR mold and Cyberverse warrior Gnaw and 3 different Tiny Turbo Changer Gnaws and Studio Series Gnaw.

 

It’s not a SDCC exclusive and if it was why the hell wait that long??

Don't mean to be rude, but you didn't have to quote reply 3 different posts to complain about the exact same thing with each one. Besides, what about this is so much worse than Hasbro announcing literally any other figure months in advance?

 

It was originally planned as such... But you know 2020 and all. Last year is when Hasbro Pulse put up the SDCC exclusives. It will probably be an in stock order rather than a pre-order when it goes up in September. These tend to be much more limited than other Pulse exclusives.

 

You obviously didn't watch the video. They referred to the 5 pack as a Convention set, as in SDCC. SDCC exclusives went up on pulse last year between the end of August and early September depending on which franchise they were (I believe Ecto Prime went up on 9/5 for premium members and 9/6 for all). They're just keeping with the established release schedule rather than moving it up, but the entire release will be on pulse rather than most of it getting sold at a convention

 

I'm guessing you haven't collected long. Past few years SDCC Exclusives would normally go on sale at the show, then online on Hasbro's website a few months later.

Also, every convention season they always show product for the next six-months-to-a-year.

Judging by your join date of 2018, am I right, you haven't been part of the collecting scene very long? If so, I'd look through past threads to get the information you are looking for.

 

Would have thought there would be more Transformers Exclusives than this.

 

There's usually only one exclusive from each franchise isn't there? Last year all there was was MP-10G

 

Could have sworn there were 2 more last year.

 

Maybe, Ecto Prime is the only one I remember though.

I think Selects Shockwave and Lancer went up for order during sdcc and could be purchased from entertainment earth at sdcc, that might be what you're thinking of. Greasepit and Exhaust are pretty much their equivalent this year

 

Well it's no big deal. All I know is most Exclusives have been revealed and it's just a matter of time to wait till September to order the ones I want.
