I don't know the answer to your question. I wills say that if you post a new thread with the question in the title (instead of "quick question") someone will answer you almost immediately.
I wish I had a definitive answer for you. The best I can do is this. The pic below shows the vintage missile on top and the Commemorative missile on the bottom (sorry for the shit resolution...that's the best pic of the Commemorative missile I could find online). The general dimensions toward the rear of each missile appear to be about the same. So, I'd say there is a good chance that vintage missiles would work with a Commemorative Optimus.
