Here is a quick mod I did on my Alpha Trion to minimize the lion kibble as much as possible. Basically just removed the front beast legs, back beast feet, and switched the shoulder pads around so the lion halves face the back. He unscrews and everything can be removed or swapped easily. No pin removal or anything required. I also removed the pop up horns while I was in there. Yes, he's super skinny at the waist, but I still like it better than the extra wide hips he had before. I'm thinking about adding a cape as others as done so it makes it a little less obvious. He still transforms into a spaceship...ish thing if you're into that. Its no worse than it was originally at least.
The garish colour mapping, the paws and unicorn horns looking out of place in robot mode, the horns looking rubbish in lion mode, the lack of posability in lion mode, etc.
The main bit that makes the waist look absurdly thin would be the gigantic shoulders. If they were even half the size they are currently, it'd be OK. I can still see someone going further and modifying/replacing the lion head shoulders. At the very least, adding a new 3D-printed bit to cover the giant purple blocks... or a new "face" area to snap over what was originally the lion face. I see the lion limbs are also on there. Probably modify those ports, if not already 5mm, to sport gun storage, or something?
this is perfect. only thing its needs is a cape. maybe replacement shoulders to completely remove the lion entirely.
