This is my first thread here; I'm not quite sure if I'm doing the right thing by posting a new thread or if there was another thread I should have posted this in. If I'm doing it wrong, I apologize.

So I've never really been able to get Arcee's wheels to sit right - they look kinda goofy folded down over her chest, and just sort of "wobble", so I always kept them up near her shoulders. I was messing around on TFwiki and saw this:

"Undocumented in the instructions, the two shoulder-mounted half-wheels contain a small niche on the edge of the tires. By folding the wheels down with the hubcaps pointing towards the chest and turning the tires towards the shoulders, one can feel the wheels gently click into place via the tire niches and hidden tabs in the shoulders, allowing the wheels to remain in place and more closely resemble the figure as pictured on its packaging."

I have no idea what that means, and I spent the better part of an hour messing with Arcee while reading those instructions over and over to no avail. Any tips?

Also, I used to be able to transform Leader Brawl into his tank mode, but I hadn't transformed him in about a year. I put him in robot mode just fine, but for the life of me I can't get him back into tank-mode.

His left arm (the one with the minigun/swing-out blade) doesn't want to fold in against his leg with enough clearance to let the treads/side-skirts line up flush with the side of his body, and it's really frustrating.

As far as I can tell, I'm folding in the arm properly - I've got it folded in exactly the same as the other arm, which I'm having no problems with. It seems to be the weapon "box" with the minigun/blade mounted on it that swings out and stores above his hand inside the gap in his leg, it's a different shape and size from the one on his other arm and it doesn't seem to give enough clearance to let the long tread piece line up with the short tread piece at the front of the tank.

I know I've transformed this guy properly before, but it's been months and months and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I found a youtube video of a guy transforming him back to tank mode and tried following that, and I still don't know what I'm doing wrong. :(

Arcee's tire halves have VERY tiny slots on them. As you fold them closer, it'll make some equally tiny tabs come into play. It takes a bit of finagling, but they peg in. However, while making her more accurate to the concept art, it does restrict her arm articulation.

Are they the little slots on the outsides of the tire? Like the part of the tire that touches the ground when she rolls?

I saw those, but couldn't figure out where to peg them in. I kept looking for pegs that would fit into those rectangular slots on the outer edge of the tire but didn't see anything, although maybe I was looking in the wrong place. Where exactly are the tiny tabs?

Brawl has some very tight tolerances in that area. If the arms are out by one click at any number of joints, they'll look like they fit right, but the treads will keep popping out. You'll just have to play with the shoulder and elbow adjustments until things fit snuggly. Also, make sure you've got the upper arms rotated the right way around. Viewing the tank from the bottom, you shouldn't see the screws in the biceps or shoulders.

look along the edges of the rear wheel. there is a tiny slot in each half and there are matching tabs around the hinge area of her shoulder

Yeah it's pretty tricking, I only found it out by accident one day. If you look at the hinge section that is attach to her arm...the piece that rotates, you'll see a very small tap there. Have the tires rotated down closer to her elbows, fold the tires in, but have it so the tire part is facing into the hinge. Then, I Basically turn the tire till in hits the spot. Hope thats help a bit.

Awesome, I got Arcee figured out. It isn't even really a peg or anything, it's just a little ridge you can barely see. Thanks for the help!

I'm going to go mess with Leader Brawl - I'll post again if I have success (or more questions). Thanks again!

Made me go dig out my Arcee. Simple yet cool :) .

As for Brawl - one of the best and trickiest of the line. If it weren't so late at night, I'd go grab him too - maybe tomorrow.
