In good condition what is the price one should be paying for these guys? For example ebay has loose ones with no weapons for under 30 bucks each. Is that a good deal to jump on?

Unless you want weapons, $30 is ok for a good condition bot, but pieceing them together can get costly. I learned long ago, buying complete may cost more initially, but its usually cheaper in the long run.

Is it hard to complete the weapons with people here who might have a bunch of g1 weapons? I just debating if i put 30-50 bucks on a figure that's 20 years old if it will be good.

Or go with a ko set from someone

For common figures like the dinobots, completing should be easy, I've just found its usually cheaper buying complete.

If KOs are acceptable to you, sure, it would be a easy way of owning a mint figure, but they aren't cheap either. You can just about buy a minty original for about the same price as a new KO.

Yeah, you can probably find a complete vintage set for $250 or so if your patient. Not with EBay buy-it-now prices, but at auction or on the boards.

Im down to one dinobot I need-sludge. I've bought the other four complete MIB and I think it's easier. My slag strangely came with grimlocks sword and rocket launcher and missiles so I had to pay $25 to replace those and now I have two slag guns and two manuals. I would try to at least get all the accessories with the bot--the box is a must for me but I'll buy seperate if needed.

Insiders here and on Seinertron.com hint every year that the Dinobots will be reissued the next year. I wish I would have ignored them and gotten the KOs when they were first released. I now believe we'll never see these reissued. And Hasbro hasn't shown any interest in giving us updated Sludge and Snarl figures.

It's also been my experience that it's better to just buy a 100% complete Transformer than to just buy the body and try to collect the parts later. I thought I did good buying a mint Scorponok body for only $100, but if I had to collect every single part for him, it would end up costing me way more than if I just bought him complete.

Of course, if you don't give a crap about having him be 100% complete, then by all means buy a cheaper one.

Is the ones on ebay that says reissued? Those are just KOs right? Hasbro never did a reissue on them?

Hasbro did not reissue Dinobots in the original boxes. The ones on ebay listed as "reissues" are indeed KOs.

I ended up buying all 5 of them. 4 used and a new swoop ko. As far as the used ones, the chrome and stickers are not much to brag on and te crome is kinda bot great. but the plastic looks really good.
