Would it be a good idea to sell the 2 extra bots from my ROTF Bruticus set since they will be not used due to being replaced by the Crossfire set?
i would love to have them, seeing as getting the last two constructicons for my energon constructicon maximus would cost a fortune
While I know this is a rhetorical question, it DOES have an answer. All the Energon combiner limbs seem to have been designed with a bot mode and an alt mode first, with some consideration made for some form of passable limb mode - the tank mold, especially, is just the alt mode with the weapon placed to act as a limb. They're pretty neat basic/scout class toys on their own. Other Energon basics are better, of course (and Energon DID give us some pretty nifty basics), but these at least fall under the "pretty cool" category. Of course, if you don't like em as individual toys, there's no sense in keeping em. If you're not a customizer, you can either use em for practice, or sell em.

i'll keep mine. i see it as having not only a complete, original Bruticus, but a complete Bruticus with upgrades. i doubt anyone sold the gun that came with their Classics UM when they got the City Commander armor. this isn't a topic that will deprive me of sleep like the "snorks vs smurfs" debate, so if you are ok with the idea, sell 'em.
I have a 100% complete bruticus maximus that is extra. Only issue is I used vortex as part of another custom and he no longer transforms... Makes a good shoulder/arm though. and the helicopter mode is still sound. Just wish I had not kitbashed him....course it was before FP announced thier upgrade. I would say sell them if you can. I'm sure someone will buy it and use it for a pieced together set. As even the pieced together set looks good.
