I know that Jetfire will switch sides somewhere in the film, and maybe combine w/ Prime, but I remember that The Fallen will also switch sides, or atleast help the autobots in some way. Am I wrong, can't remember the details...

I can't say I've ever heard anything about the Fallen defecting. Just Jetfire. Oh, and Wheelie.

The Fallen from the War Within comics is factionless; neither Autobot nor Decepticon. But the Fallen as he appears within the movie seems entirely on the side of the Decepticons.

Well that is debatable seen as the insignia is based on The Fallen's head and Mgatron rose the army for The Fallen.

What's the chances Megatron will turn on his benefactor?

If we go by Defiance, low.

He's almost Lugnut-like to his master.

Jetfire doesn't switch halfway through the film, judging by his toy bio, its pretty much the moment the autobots discover him. As for the fallen, i wouldn't be surprised if Megatron betrays the fallen at the last second for his own chance of power, Megatron doesn't seem like the kinda guy to be ordered around by anyone.

The Fallen is merely using the Decepticons as his tools.

There's a comment about the nature of he and his brothers that TFW didn't report that strongly suggests that he's the same guy as the Fallen from The War Within. Hell, even his method of seducing others to serve him is very similar.

Not heard of him switching sides before. As has been mentioned, The Fallen serves only himself in his previous incarnation in "War Within". I think it'll take something away from Megatron if he doesn't turn against his benefactor. His toy biography says that he is pretty much only out for revenge. I think if The Fallen gets in the way of that quest, Megatron will do his best to dispose of The Fallen's interference.

Yea as far as switching sides i thought it was jetfire and wheelie who switched. As for the fallen like what was stated above he only lives to serve himself but in the movie he def does look like hes strictly decepticon.

Doubt the Fallen will side with the Autobots, but he could abandon the Decepticons and destroy them when he's released I guess. He should be quite powerful and maybe he doesn't need anyone by his side

So, The Fallen is like the guy behind the guy when it comes to Deceptions.

    Right?

It'd be interesting to see Megatron play the role Starscream always did in the cartoon, the overconfident soldier trying to usurp the current leader/higher in command.
