For those who have seen it, how was the run time? was it to long? do you think they should of cut it down to just over 2 hours? or was it just right and did the movie keep your attention the whole way through?

I too thought it was great! I was so into it I didn't even pay attention to the run time. However, there was so much going on and the theater was so loud that I obviously missed a few scenes and some important dialogue.

There's definitely moments that could've been shortened or edited down, but generally speaking the pace of the film means you're not looking at your watch thinking 'is it over yet?'

    Really? 157 minutes?

I wasn't paying attention to the time when I seen it. But my IMAX showing I'm going to says 166 minutes.

So my question is, is there really that munch extra footage in the IMAX version over standard version? I expected a minute, two tops. But that's like an extra 8 or 9 minutes lol. You know how much can happen in 8 or 9 minutes lol.

What if it is extended footage, but boring footage of some human interaction?

They did that for TFs 1 lol. They re-released it at IMAX and added in like 5 or 7 minutes of extra footage and it was all human stuff lol

I got a feeling they are going to try and pull a special extended scene Blu ray edition on us and get people to double dip.
