Is it me or should Megatron be dead, like, totally?

Both Prowl and Prime have their sparks in their chests so its pretty safe to assume its standardized for all Transformers to have their sparks in the chest area, but Megatron only has his head.

So was Megatron supposedly totally dead until Sari unintentionally resurrected him? Or was he always alive but her key awoke him.

Eitherway, where's his spark? Is the orb we see in the Transformers' chests just a sign of life, and the spark is actually anywhere and everywhere rather than just the little orb in the chest? Or does Megatron have have a secondary spark storage thing in his head? Auxilliary memory chamber? Headmasters?

    What do you all think?

We don't know how much of Megs was salvaged from the crash or how much of it is linked together.

The part that was his chest could be propped up on the back wall behind his head, you never know.

This one makes the most sense.

Keke... not that I'm whining or bitching though.

Plus, if Meltdown melts everything, then what is he wearing?

If I remember correctly back in the G1 issue 5 Marvel comic Optimus was nothing but a head yet he remained active. In fact Shockwave use to talk to him.

Keep in mind Megs' head is different from his cybertronian incarnation, perhaps it was built using his torso.

Maybe his spark is in his head? We've seen a total of two bots (technically only one, since we never saw Prowls spark in his chest) with in in there chest. Did you see how big his head was? As big as BB.

I think it's like BW, not all Sparks are kept in the chest. (Rhinox's chest had a whole straight through the center, while TM2 Cheetor had it in his leg)

Unless later in the show it is revealed that his spark was infact or is inside his chest, then cry plot-hole. But without solid facts and hard evidence, you can't say this is a plot-hole.

Also, I think it's safe to say Meltdown's suit can regulate and control his acidic nature, since he is shown with his gloves and how the acid "coats" them him to use it. Proving that his suit, through his control, is somewhat or totally resistant to his acid, or that he can control it. (He did make the suit)

lol, nice-and that's the right hand too, the one that was still on the ship when Megatron was attacked-anyone else notice that? now THAT is a plothole (unless it fell off the ship, as Megatron's head was the only part of him that didnt burn up, as far as i know)

I also think that Megatron maybe had a backup spark in his head that failed until Sari got it with they key, or her using the the key brought back his head.

And as for Meltdown, maybe its like Fantastic 4-a special suit that gets its abilities from the user, or maybe its made of a strange material that was present when he became meltdown, and it was hit with the gas, but had the opposite effect.

A transformers spark is diffused throughout it's body, and it's "spark chamber" is a safe house for protection.
