Well, I don;t collect Zelda stuff but the series probably is the most loved and has the most fanatical base. As far as that figure, the N64 era figures are quite collectible now, especially MOC. Even more so is the intense fanboy love for Majora's Mask which probably makes this even more so. It wasn't the most popular Zelda game so licensed stuff was probably not as produced as Ocarina of Time so finding stuff in that shape is pretty valuable. This is all just speculation though.

I did like Majora's Mask, even more than the critically acclaimed Ocarina of Time. I would buy that toy if its resale value is guaranteed.

Honestly, Zelda is one of those franchises that is JUST behind Mario when it comes to having hardcore fandoms.

When new Zelda games get anounces at E3, people are in the audience CRYING and shit.

I love Zelda, and I can easily see why the nostalgia factor would lead to those kinds of prices.

Sheesh...the prices for that figure just get more insane as the years go by. Apparently it's very rare. I remember not ever being able to find it when it came out, only the version that comes with Epona which was less articulated (and also far less sought after).

It's one of the better Link figures that were made.

If only Figma or D-Arts would bring us a Link figure...

Figma has the license so maybe we'll see some zelda and other nintendo characters as well?... fingers are def crossed.

I don't understand why nintendo hasn't found a company that makes decent stuff to give their licenses to before this single(so far) figma release. Seriously whats with those vinyl Mario figs on the shelves right now, why would I want those?

It's one of a few Link figures made, and Majora's Mask is a very highly cherished Zelda game so the hard to find Survivors of the Majora's mask toyline are valuable in good condition, MOC, they'll be very expensive.

Patiently waiting that Figma's Nintendo license will lead to an EPIC Link, Zelda, and Ganon(dorf) figures. :)
