My question is simple do you guys recall what channels ran the G1 cartoon in the 80s and possibly in reruns in the 90s?

I think channel 13? Or channel 11? I think it was one of those.

Yeah, in the L.A. area, I think it was KTTV 11. But it might have been KCOP 13 lol. Like you, I can't remember which cartoons were on which.

I remember Robotech started on 13 and later moved to 11. I'm pretty sure Voltron was 11. But I can't remember Transformers and GI Joe.

Thanks for the fast reply guys

It does seem it was your channel 13, The reason I asked is because I'm having a small debate with someone who claims that a CBS affiliate in California ran the Japanese star dub of the headmaster Series

In the bay area it was shown on KTVU channel 2 (before it became a Fox affiliate IIRC) they never showed the Japanese dubs here (KTVU 2, KBHK 44, and KICU 36 would have been the only channels that might have since they all showed lots of Japanese shows when they were all indie stations.

Not in SoCal. I could see something like that happening in the Bay area, but I still kind of doubt it. And by the way, the Star dub was NOT Japanese. It was done by Hong Kong. Japan would not have done such a crappy job.

For the record I meant the star dubs of the Japanese show
