Sorry to be a pain, but I am trying to avoid watching the t.v. spots and was wondering if someone can describe the new bits in all 5 spots that we're not shown in the first 2 trailers and sho-west footage.

haha, not really. There were a couple of new shots; and some shots that were longer, extended cuts of previous ones.

-Sideswipe and Arcee twins chasing Sideways.
-Couple more shots of Ravage running
-Cool shot of Mudflap and Skids talking to sam
-Cool new shot of Optimus transforming in a military bunker
-Megatron speaking to Unicron
-same ole'

Just watch the spots, man! They're not giving anything away, it's just to tease you and get you interested.

 

I am tempted,

but with the first film I watched every single teaser - going by a statement Bay said at one point - something like 'we are not showing everything in the trailers'

which was true - but they did however show all of the best action bits in the tv spots, when i finally went to see the film - I had already seen the best bits

I'm just worried the same will happen again.......


having said that i did hear that the writers mentioned even if they wanted to put all of the ''money-shots'' into one trailer, the trailer would have to be 20 minutes long.....


anybody have any idea of how much total bot footage we've seen so far?

 

There has been tons of robot footage, I'd say total its been around 3 minutes. A lot of quick clips, some shots are longer. almost 30 robots have been seen, not including a group shot of tiny bots.

 

The "Join the Fight" spot has a sweeeeeeeet close up of Ironhide transforming. Even in analog it looked fantastic!
