Question about the TF movie DVD

    I bought my TF movie DVD today (brazilian edition) and took a screencapture to check the resolution. It's at 853x480 pixels, including the top and bottom black bars - giving you actual resolution of 360 pixels (vertical):

    I thought widescreen movies were encoded at full 480 pixels and then resized by the DVD player. Does the US DVD release has those black bars as well?

    Mine has the bars, it's widescreen.
