Hi guys, just got my insecticon, and as I was transforming him I noticed that his left (if you have the figure in robot mode and facing you) pincer sits way lower than the right one, in other words, the pincers are not at the same level when closed in insect mode.
Went online to see some pics of this figure and saw that almost invariably, the pics look the same as mine.
My question is, is this normal?, was it on purpose? (That'd be weird), a QC issue?, or are these figures getting deformed in packaging?
    Thanks for the posts guys.

QC issue, I have the same issue. I think the pin is not set right. Also, on mine there seems to be chip in the plastic (under the pincher where the pin is).

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I wonder if should press my luck and exchange it, my local walmart got like 20 of him, but most if the paint apps in the chest where all messed up. I dunno if it is possible to tell from the package if it is messed up or not. I've seen at least one review where there didn't seem to be QC issues with that figure.
I also have that chipped plastic on mine.

The pin just needs pushed in a slight bit and it's perfect. I did this to mine and it's lined up with the other one now.

A wood burner with a pointed tip. Lay the tip on the pin and as it heats, let gravity push it in 1-2mm. Remove the heater, drip a few drops of cold water on the pin and bingo.

Ah ok I think I might leave mine I have heated and popped pins on customs with a lighter and my files but I was just trying to push it without heating, I'm afraid the thing will snap off.

I have that issue with mine too. Will try to fix it with your pin suggestions above.

But I have an even bigger issue with Reflector. The lens/feet that flips over and holds him in robot/camera mode -- doesn't hold him in place. His head sits with a gap of about a centimeter and a half between it and back. Sucks. Makes him only usable in his gun mode.

There's no such thing as a perfect toy. They're all flawed.

Quality Control is for things like making sure the right toy is in the right package and that there isn't a dead rat inside of the blister, not for slightly loose ball joints or tiny droplets of paint out of place.

That said, my Skrapnel's right pincer has a case of the wiggles. That pin is a tiny bit loose. Not a big deal.
